The Museum of the Palestinian People presents a tour of the Museum, followed by a screening of the film “Al Helm: Martin Luther King in Palestine” by award-winning filmmaker Connie Fields in Middle East Books and More.
Produced by the San Francisco Documentary Fund, Berkeley Film Foundation and Clarity Films:
A gospel choir visits Palestine on Martin Luther King Day to sing songs of the civil rights struggle in America, to an audience of Palestinians for which human rights are being denied.
Come see what ensues and stay for the discussion after by two individuals with first-hand information.
