VISITOR INFORMATION & GUIDELINES

Advance Reservations: Due to limited space, we encourage visitors to reserve tickets in advance. Walk-ins are accommodated as space allows.
Do Not Touch the Artwork: To protect our cultural heritage, do not touch any textiles and artworks. This is especially important for Palestinian dresses, which are delicate and require preservation.
Do Not Lean on the Walls: Leaning on walls can cause wear or structural damage over time, and all wall spaces contain artwork. Please help us protect the space by avoiding physical contact with walls and display cases. Additionally, certain walls in the museum are temporary—as all walls should be—and leaning on them can cause collapse or damage.
Large Backpacks: To protect the exhibits and ensure a positive experience for other visitors, large backpacks must be removed and placed in a designated area. Please check with staff upon arrival.
Food & Beverage Policy: To preserve the integrity of our collection, no food or beverages are allowed in the exhibition spaces. Water bottles must be sealed. At the staff’s discretion, we may host events that allow food or drink.
Photography & Filming Policy: Visitors are welcome to take photographs in the museum. However, we kindly ask that you seek consent before photographing or filming docents, staff, or other visitors, as some individuals may not wish to be recorded. We appreciate your respect for their preferences.
Experiential Storytelling: Our tours and events are led by knowledgeable individuals who share personal experiences, cultural insights, and community stories. These tours are not scripted, reflecting the lived experiences and diverse voices within the Palestinian community. While we strive for accuracy and inclusivity, perspectives may vary, and we encourage dialogue and mutual understanding. Our goal is to foster meaningful connections to Palestinian cultural heritage through storytelling, conversation, and shared learning.
Respect & Safety Policy: We are committed to fostering a welcoming and respectful environment for all visitors, staff, volunteers, and community members. We reserve the right to deny entry or remove anyone whose behavior disrupts the experience of others or compromises the safety of our space.

We encourage public transportation to visit the Museum of the Palestinian People, as street parking is extremely limited in the area.
