We have great news! The Museum of the Palestinian People will be hosting our inaugural fundraising dinner on Monday, September 24th at the historic Tabard Inn in Washington, D.C, and you’re invited! We hope you will be able to join us to support the opening of the Museum of the Palestinian People, the first and only museum in the nation’s capital that will be dedicated to celebrating Palestinian culture, history and resilience.
At this dinner we will celebrate the beauty of Palestinian culture with a menu featuring Palestinian cuisine crafted by renowned Palestinian Chef Joud Achkar, the Executive Chef at Tabard Inn. The evening will also feature a silent auction with items from Palestine some of which is rare and discontinued items from Jerusalem. There will also be art donated by local D.C. artists and much more! (See the list of auction items here).
We couldn’t have made it this far without your support, and we look forward to partnering with you to open our doors in 2018. We hope to see you and your friends and family on September 24th!
Many thanks to our friends at the Tabard Inn for co-hosting this exciting evening with the Museum of the Palestinian People!
P.S. Our fundraising campaign is still going, so please support our efforts to open the doors of the first Museum of the Palestinian People in Washington, DC. You can learn more here, and don’t forget to share the exciting news with your friends and family!
